Vaz te off to Turkey??

Akhisar Belediyespor have completed the loan signing of Ricardo Vaz Te from West Ham according to the Turkish newspaper Fanatik.
Vaz Te recently handed in a transfer request after failing to break into the Hammers first team.
Ricardo Vaz Te is expected to meet with Akhisar manager Roberto Carlos and the rest of the squad in Antalya this week.
Carlos said "It's been a lifelong dream of mine to be a right busy cunt after a West Ham win"

Good luck to Ricardo. He helped get us up and were it not for injuries, I think he could have done well for us. He needs to move on now though.

Good luck to him if true. Was absolutely crucial to us bouncing back up and for that I have plenty of respect for him.

i am sure we can pay one of our own academy/development squad kids less to warm up during matches infront of chav corner and keep the bench warm - been a total waste of money this season and he is an example of sam not planning for the future or bringing in some one who would get on the pitch.

Assuming this goes through, it seems absurd to me. This is a guy who scored an outstanding 24 goals in a championship promotion season, many of them playing from wide. At 28 he should be in his prime. No offence to the Turkish side, and maybe he wants a total change of scene.
But I just think it's a poor reflection on recruitment policies at other teams. I'm not saying he would be an explosive success at the likes of Leicester or Burnley, but I think he'd be a inexpensive and better option than many that are available this January.
